Donned in lingerie, chunky jewelry and a crucifix, Madonna looked smoking hot in her Interview Magazine photoshoot (May 2010). In the photos, Madonna opted to go without any photo retouching and airbrushing. Pretty brave for a 51-year-old woman.
But critics aren’t so sure that Photoshop wasn’t used in the pics, citing what appears to be a flesh colored indention left from fishnet stockings. What do you think?

Everyone knows that Malawi in sub-saharan Africa holds a special place in Madonna’s heart since her two adopted children are from the impoverished country. Madonna wants to give something back, and fulfill another dream of hers, by building a school for girls there.
The Raising Malawi Academy for Girls, named after the Raising Malawi charity Madonna founded in 2006, is scheduled to open in 2011, and will be an environmentally-friendly building providing education for more than 500 girls, most of whom are from underprivileged homes. It will be located in Blantyre near the Malawi capital of Lilongwe.
Madonna is using her considerable fundraising clout to supplement this project with efforts to raise money for scholarships and equipment to access the Internet.

Madonna didn’t win the “Best Dance Recording” for which she was nominated, but she can rest assured that the woman who did is following in her footsteps.
Lady Gaga, who took the award home for “Poker Face,” who has been said to “out-Madonna Madonna” regularly, constantly pushing the limits with her music, her performances, and in her daily fashion.
The comparisons to Madonna are drawn regularly – while Gaga is on the top of the Pop game right now, Madonna Tickets are still a hot commodity. Plus, Madonna says she’s flattered by all the comparisons.

What a shock! Madonna managed to dismay the masses in the Middle East during her recent Sept. 1st show in Tel Aviv.
At one point during the performance, Madonna draped herself in an Israeli flag, and while the majority of the audience was Israeli, the Palestinians in attendance were none too pleased.
Blog posts after the show expressed disappointment with her seeming hypocrisy, with some commenting “Madonna-Go Away.” Given the fact that Madonna expressed her happiness about returning to the country after a 16-year absence, she left many puzzled by what is perceived as her political and social misstep.

The material girl has gotten her hands on another object of her desire, boytoy Jesus Luz, and the two plan on taking their relationship to the next level.
Madonna, 50, and Jesus Luz, a Brazilian model who is barely old enough to legally buy alcohol, are reportedly taking their relationship to the next level by taking part in a commitment ceremony. The event will be a Kabbalah ceremony headed by a rabbi in New York.
Supposedly, Jesus has already converted from Catholicism to the Kabbalah religion as a mark of his six-month commitment to the Madonna.
